Greek Foto Week: The Greek America Foundation is proud to inaugurate this new project called GREEK FOTO WEEK (GFW) that will bring together talented photographers of Greek descent from throughout North America for a one-week celebration of talent, light, imagery and color that only the lens of a camera can produce.

The first GFW will take place in Toronto, Canada in May 2011 with plans for rolling out GFWs in other cities throughout the United States and Canada in the coming years. This year’s event will be held as a part of Toronto’s Scotiabank Contact Photography Festival 2011: Figure and Ground Open Exhibits.

GFW/Toronto will be hosted at one of Toronto’s most unique event spaces, The Burroughes, a landmark building that is leading the revival in one of that city’s most trendy neighborhoods.
